Lucy-girl is obsessed with dancing. She was beyond thrilled that dance started again today. She wears her dance clothes as long as I'll let her, teaches Lylah dance moves, and and tells us over and over all the things her teacher told her. So naturally, she asked to have today's picture be of her in her dance clothes.

We've been trying to pull out Christmas presents a little at a time. That way they're getting fun exciting things every few days and aren't so overwhelmed by all of it at once. Today we got pattern blocks, and the ladies LOVED them!

Our favorite 96 1/2 year old is in town! My great-grandma and Lucy and Lylah's great-great-grandma! She is the cutest, sweetest, kindest person I know, and I can't tell you how grateful I am that my girls are getting the chance to get to know her!

Photo-a-Day ~day 1~

{Photo-a-Day Project: A personal project that I undertake every January, taking one photo each day of the month of my sweet little girls.}

This is my third year doing the Photo-a-Day challenge for the month of January. I adore the pictures from the last two years and have been so excited to do it again! (Here is 2011, here is 2012.) This really is the perfect way to start off the new year.
